The Band of Marines is an Xbox LIVE "realism" gaming clan based on the United States Marine Corps. They attempt to replicate what it is like to serve as an infantry Marine in today's Marine Corps, using games such as Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

To join it takes more than just your 'average gamer'. It takes more than just a 'little effort'. You have to prove your worth to us. You have to show us you have what it takes to be called a Young Marine. It is not as easy as you think it is.

The Band of Marines uses the rank structure of the modern U.S. Marine Corps. Each member must be familiar with the ranks and each of their responsibilities.

Here is a look at the rank insignia's of the enlisted ranks. E-2 to E-9 pay grades. Take a moment to examine them and memorize them. You never know when you'll see a Sergeant Major strolling around.
